Ecosurety renews B Corp™ certification with flying colours

After 18 months of rigorous assessment by B Lab™, we have been recertified with a score of 100.2, up from 83.8 in our first certification (an increase of almost 20%). This demonstrates our commitment and success in delivering positive environmental and social impact. 

Balancing people, planet and profit 

Granted by B Lab™, the network transforming the global economy to benefit all people, B Corp™ is a globally recognised certification awarded to companies that meet high standards of social and environmental performance, accountability and transparency.  

Certified B Corporations™ are also legally committed to bringing benefit not just to shareholders, but all business stakeholders: workers, customers, communities, and the environment.  

With this recertification, we can not only see our overall score jump by almost 20%, it also highlights improvements in 4 out of the 5 Impact Area Pillars of the B Corp framework: Workers, Community, Customers and Environment.  

Our ‘Environment’ score has, for instance, almost doubled since 2020, from 8.7 to 16.5, thanks to the our increased focus on protecting the environment. As part of our commitment to become net zero by 2030, we now monitor, set reduction targets and track progress on our CO2e emissions across scopes 1, 2 and 3.

We have also introduced an Environmentally Preferable Purchasing Policy, ensuring staff use their purchasing power to procure eco-friendly and sustainable goods and services. 

These are a few examples among many improvements that we have made in the last few years to ramp up our sustainability efforts, which have been recognised by B Lab™ via this much higher recertification score.
