During October 2017, Ecosurety and Hubbub launched a battery collection campaign like no other!
Bringing together a coalition of well-known retailers including Asda, B&Q, Currys PC World, The Entertainer, Marks & Spencer and Morrisons, #BringBackHeavyMetal aimed to turn battery recycling all the way up to 11.
With 52% of people admitting they throw away batteries in general waste and the UK failing to meet the collection target, it was time to stand up and make some noise. We'll be reporting on the impacts of the campaign soon - watch this space.
