As financial controller Olly is responsible for the day-to-day flow of money throughout the business, including the development and management of our finance team. He holds an Accounting and International Business BA(Hons) from Keele University and became a CIMA qualified chartered management accountant after completing a three-year NHS finance management graduate training scheme, including a secondment to KPMG.
After completing his training Olly went on to become senior modelling and planning accountant for Weston Area Health NHS Trust, acting as the Trust’s specialist on financial planning, assisting with contracts in excess of £90m whilst providing key strategic and operational insight to fellow colleagues across the organisation.
Olly was awarded ‘Outstanding student of the year’ in the final year of his degree and achieved one of the highest ever results for the final CIMA strategic case study exam, making him a global prize winner. Outside of work meanwhile Olly is a dedicated summer surfer with a passion for protecting the marine environment, keenly supporting the work of Surfers Against Sewage. He can also be found splashing around in the Bristol docks, rowing as part of Bristol Pilot Gig Club or playing the occasional game of lacrosse.
